Rotary Club Bedford – Mercy Canning joins Rotary

Mercy Canning, CEO has become a full member of the local Rotary club in Bedford. The Rotary club is an organisation that works with their local community funding charity events, and has a main goal of providing humanitarian services.
The Rotary is an international service organization whose stated purpose is to bring together business and professional leaders in order to provide humanitarian service and to advance goodwill and peace around the world. We are proud to announce that the Rotary Club – Ipswich have directed their efforts with supporting the victims in Ukraine. During Christmas the Rotary volunteers had wrapped and sent 30,000 presents to Ukrainian children and was featured in BBC news. You can watch the feature by clicking on the BBC Feature
When asked Mercy Canning said "it is an honour to be part of an organisation that shares the same values and principles as ourselves which is "Service above Self". Our care and support is not just limited to our clients but our reach exstends to our community. It is important for us to use both our knowlege, experience and skills to support those that maybe in need. We are looking forward to working with all the Rotary members on forthcoming fund raising events across the East Anglia Region"
