Benefits of Home Care
What duties does the carer perform?
The duties that our carers provide is spoke to your needs but can include:
THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A CARE HOME & ASSISTED LIVING
What is assisted Living?
Assisted Living is where you receive long term care, normally, within a supported housing setting. This means that you live within an independent flat, that is looked after by either an Estate Manager or a Housing Manager.
It would require you to move from your home into a smaller accommodation which can be suitable if you are considering downsizing or you have mobility concerns. Home Care can still be performed if you or your loved one lives within a Supported Housing or Assisted Living facility. The Carer’s will still maintain your daily routine and support you or your loved ones in areas that may require addition help.
What is the difference between Home Care and a Care Home?
The duties that care home carers provide and community carers provide are not dissimilar. The biggest and most important distinction is that clients are able to remain within the familiar and comfortable surroundings of their own home. With home care there isn’t the upheaval of having to move from your home, or having to sale your home to fund your care or being restricted to set routines. Home Care fits in around your daily routine and you receive personalised and 121 care at home.

WHY CHOOSE A CLASS CARE?
A Class Care Ltd was started by two Directors who had elderly parents and wanted to ensure that their parents received exemplary care. From this they extended their drive, passion, and quality care to our clients. The company’s moto is to “treat our clients as if they were our parents”. This passion and drive ensure that we select the right carers that will always put the needs of our clients first. We are an independent company that ensures that we provide person centred care. You will quite often see the Directors come out to visit our clients to spend time talking and getting to know them.
We have over 20 year’s experience in the care sector and we are fully regulated by the Care Quality Commissioners, who closely monitor our services, leadership, training, and overall quality of care. They ensure that the support we provide is safe, caring responsive, effective, and well-led. We also, regularly self-monitor our quality of care and contact our clients every 28 days for feedback of our services. With our regulatory monitoring and our self-monitoring, it means that we are always delivering an exemplary service.
Here at A Class Care we are extremely proud of the service that we provide, and we have been recognised for our outstanding care provisions. We have received several care award nominations, including by the prestigious LaingBuisson Care Awards.
