We are significantly growing our team of Bank Support Staff to work in A Class Care Limited people centred services across Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire. Bank Support Staff cover shifts to suit their availability when our employed staff are off sick, are on leave or need additional resources without committing to working set hours.

At A Class Care we take our recruitment process very seriously. To maintain our very high standards of service, we need the very best people. Our Carers are the face of A Class Care; everyday they represent us in the homes of customers around Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Essex, Suffolk and Northamptonshire.Our jobs are special, and it needs special people to do it well and uphold the company’s values in the process.
It takes a certain type of person to make a great Carer. Compassionate, caring, enthusiastic and empathetic. You need to have empathy, integrity and resilience to become a carer. You will have to be diligent, adaptable and reliable with a positive outlook and proactive attitude. Being chatty helps, friendly, approachable and being a good listener is a necessity. If you can tick those boxes and are keen to learn, then you might be A Class Care Limited kind of person.
The organisation offers a robust and in-depth induction which requires the candidate to be available for in-house training for a minimum of 2 weeks. They would be additionally required to complete skills for care work book which has to be approved by a member of management before a carer is able to work in the Community on their own. This is a prerequisite the only exception would be if the employee has completed the skills for care induction with a forma employee. We would need certificates to prove this.
We have an incentive scheme for our staff. Should you refer us to anyone else whose application is successful you will become eligible for a £150 bonus. The criteria are that you will of course need to be a member of staff to qualify and the referred applicant will need to complete 6 months successful service before the payment becomes due.
