How does it Work?
Live In Care
The carer will sleep within their own room at the house and will follow a bespoke support plan designed around the client. The hours and days of work will depend on the needs of the client.
Daily Routine
The carer’s daily responsibilities will vary but will include, toileting, issuing medication, domestics, such as cooking, cleaning, laundry and shopping. In addition to this our carers spend quality time with the client providing a priceless companionship service.
Relationship
To ensure that all the client’s needs are met our Human Resources Team only assigns employees that closely match the personality of the client. This helps us to maximise the chances that they will foster a harmonious relationship.
Live in Care Service
What is Live In Care?
Live-in care is a full time care solution that allows you or your loved one to remain at home receiving care in a familiar and relaxed environment. It is the ideal solution for those that want to retain their independence, the service is an alternative to moving to a residential or nursing home. There are none of the usual disruptions associated with being in a care home or assisted living and the level of support received is remarkable and incomparable.
A Class Care agency retains dedicated and fully trained care employees to provide bespoke, high quality 1-2-1 full time day and night care and companionship. The fully trained and qualified carers will follow an agreed care & support plan that is specifically built around the individual.
The Support Plan
All our support plans are put together with the input of the client or that of the next of kin. Each plan is devised solely around the client and includes medication management, meals, eating times, favourite activities, likes and dislikes. This is to ensure that the client receives the best possible service which is individual to them. All our support plans are very flexible so if the need changes so does our plans.

The First Steps
We invite prospective clients or their families to contact our agency in the first instance for an initial consultation. If all parties are happy with the initial contact then we will organise a more in-depth discussion or meeting with our Liaison Team.
There are a number of things that need to be considered before making the decision to provide Live In care support, such as will this fully meet the needs of the client? Whilst this can be a daunting and challenging decision to make, it’s not a decision that we expect our clients to make alone. Our dedicated agency Liaison Team will ensure that a full client needs assessment is performed. This ensures that you make decisions based on sound advice resulting in a service package that exactly matches your care needs.
Live In Care is a flexible, high quality service in that it allows the client to take control of daily activities so that they still retain control over normal activities such as going to bed when they want, watching TV when they want etc. but with the added support of companionship.
The value of elderly clients to keep a routine and remain in their own home is priceless, particularly in situations of dementia as the familiarity of their own surroundings and their routine can help with a family member and client’s piece of mind.
Costs & Funding
Of course any decision about care will need to factor in the costs. It may be a surprise to hear that Live-In Care compares very favourably with the cost of most Care Homes, often it can be the least expensive option compared to the high costs of residential care.
Funding can be provided in some cases through Government Benefits or often clients will consider Equity Release of a Lifetime Mortgage. If you do not qualify for public funding and have to pay for care privately, we would advise that you speak to a Financial Advisor with ‘Care Fee Planning’ knowledge and experience.
