Thanking our Live-In Carers can never be enough. Live-In Carer’s play an integral role in making a difference to the lives of those we care for. They leave their own homes and family to dedicate time to helping others enhancing their lives and providing quality care. We have so many stories to share - showing how happy our carers have made our clients. One story in particular spring to mind:
In our Ipswich office, we recently received a video of our Carer DJ’ing at an event dedicated to our client. This was done over the festive period. There was a lot of booging on the dance floor and smiles all around. This may seem like a small thing, but this party made a huge difference to our client. He felt important and it gave him a sense of pride. The carer danced with him, playing his favourite tunes. Being at the centre and having some one cheering for you, whilst hearing the music playing is a feeling that you just can’t take for granted. Our Live-In Carer did that. He made him smile, dance, and laugh. The Live-In Carer gave our client that momentary time off to forget his aches and just enjoy the moment.
Live-In Care as evolved from the traditional care of preparing meals and administering medication. Our Live-In Care service focuses on positive outcomes for the client. We always ask the question " What do you want as an outcome” how do you see the Live-In Carer working for you? With this, the carers springs to action.
Our Live-In Carers are responsive, genuine and caring. They possess the innate characteristics that makes a positive difference. Not a day will go by where we do not thank our carers. Our carers are highly valued.
Our Area Manager wanted to do something a little different this year. So, with her team she arranged bespoke presents to be hand delivered to each one of our carers over the festive period. Our carer had sent a personal message to their Service Manager –click here to watch the video.
We are proud of every single carer and staff. From the senior leadership team we will say it again THANK YOU!!!
