Home Care Visits - Cambridge and surrounding areas
Are you looking for home care visits support in the Cambridge & Bedfordshire area to help keep your loved one independent and in their home?
A Class Care has provided care services for over 20 years in the region. We offer highly trained staff that cover a wide range of care services to meet individual needs. From providing a hand with household chores once a week to more involved care such as full overnight assistance, we can help.
How Do Home Care Visits Work?
We invite prospective clients or their families to contact us in the first instance for an initial consultation. If all parties are happy with the initial contact then we will organise a more in-depth discussion or meeting with our Liaison Team to come up with an agreed care plan and schedule.
Home visits are attended by our highly trained carers. All A Class Care clients are provided with a daily log book placed within the home. The daily log book details every aspect of care provided on a given day. An electronic monitoring unit is kept in the Log Book which monitors visits form carers. They are required to log in on arrival and logout when the care visit ends.
Clients or their families can then check the times of the care visits so that they are assured that all calls have been properly attended in accordance with the agreed plan.

Funding Home Care Visits
We work with local agencies in order to access financial funding which could help pay for you or your family's care. We have been fortunate enough to help a number of clients access funding which they did not think that there were eligible to. We could help you too.
The Direct Payment Scheme is often a good route to fund care in the home. This is where the local authority assess the care needs and based on their assessment will fund your care support. The Local Authority will arrange for the funding to be transferred in your bank account and it is then up to you to choose which home care agency is most suitable to provide the required care.
If you do not qualify for public funding and have to pay for care privately, we would advise that you speak to a Financial Advisor with ‘Care Fee Planning’ knowledge and experience. We can arrange this for you.
We understand that funding can be confusing at times and setting up payments can be a little daunting. A Class Care can help arrange for an intermediary to manage all your financial payments so you do not need to worry about paying for your care. You can feel relaxed knowing that all your support needs are taken care of.
